The Beach was HOT this summer!!!

This winter come down to Grand Bend Ontario to enjoy the great dining and live entertainment.  Winter camping and groomed cross country ski trails at The Pinery.  Snow machine trails lead into The Bend from all over. Hot Toddies and creamy hot chocolate to help you warm up. Book your hotels for our Winter Weekend celebrations.  Summer is not the only season in our area.  While you are visiting come see our beach house and children's water and play area.  Our wide sandy beach draws people to our town to swim and they stay to enjoy our restaurants and nightlife.   People of a like mind come to our community to advance their quality of life or to love the 30 miles of continuous beaches, warm waters and sandy lake bottoms even if just for the afternoon.  All are welcome in Grand Bend.

In the summer we have beaches both quiet and very busy.  Do you want to take the family to a quiet beach where you can enjoy the sun and surf or do you want to join the crowds and see and be seen on Main Beach with thousands of others?   The North beach at the end of Main Street in Grand Bend is full of young sun worshipers all dressed in their finest bathing suits recently purchased in one of many stores on Main Street.  South beach is full of families and more mature sun bathers enjoying watching the children and grand children run in and out of the water.  In the winter we have two indoor pools that are accessible to the public.

In the summer both beaches are full of locals who have wandered down from their cottages and homes for a day of relaxation and fun.  In the winter the snowmobile trails all head to Grand Bend and the great food and many hotels to get warm in.

We have so much to offer visitors to our town.  We have excellent shopping, fantastic food, golfing, skydiving, The Pinery Provincial Park with clean water for swimming.  Enjoy parasailing, water craft rentals, art galleries, live music and so much more.

We are a thriving community with new housing developments starting all the time.  We have a medical centre that looks to be the centre piece of a larger focus on health.  Our seniors have access to all that the town has to offer.  We have wheelchair access sidewalks, an elevator at the beach house allows everyone access to the viewing area and the wheelchair friendly walkway across the beach area allows everyone to view our glorious sunsets.
