RESTAURANTS
Grand Bend has the most amazing variety of eating establishments to satisfy every appetite. Burgers and fries, onion rings, ice cream are all available on Hwy 21 and all down the Main Street of Grand Bend. What else would you expect on the main street of a resort town? And boy oh boy it is good! Pizza by the slice and Mexican food too! |
BUT - if you take the time to move away from the fast food stores and look for a place to sit down and wait for a feast, you won't be disappointed. We have a number of fine dining establishments in the Grand Bend area. Check out Eddingtons of Exeter for casual Fine Dining just east of Grand Bend. The skill of our local chefs is second to none. Hold your wedding at one of the larger establishments like Oakwood Resort or the Hessenland Country Inn. They will do a wonderful job for you. |
The Aux Sables Inn has a new chef, but to locals he is an old favourite of the town. Randy Rapley is determined to bring back Steak and Seafood in a Fine Dining atmosphere to Grand Bend. He promises to use local products as much as possible from Lake Huron - perch, whitefish and pickeral - add to that the best available lobster and shrimp from the coasts. His salad dressings will be outstanding, a different home made house dressing each month. Baguettes from Grandpa Jimmies and when available local grown produce. He is going to have a lot of fun and invites everyone to join him on Highway 21 just south of town. |
