Schools are so important to Grand Bend


Participate in our fund raising drive to raise a million dollars to build a new Library, Public School, Daycare and Meeting Rooms in Grand Bend.  We promised to raise enough money to build a new facility because the school board was threatening to close our little Public School.  Efforts continue to raise the remaining $400,000.00.

 

 Our schools are so important to us that we are working together to raise enough money to build our new facility.  With the assist of Lambton Shores Grand Bend brought a new idea to the Lambton Kent School Board and they worked with our Partnership group headed by Chris Thompson to build our new elementary school.  Thank you to all who helped out.  Our children appreciate your hard work.

A bus is available to pick up South Huron children to attend Grand Bend Public School.  The route is being discussed now so call the school now.

Right down the street is Our Lady of Mount Carmel School.  They recently held a fund raising program to build a new play centre on their school yard.  The should be so proud of themselves for such a fine addition to a fine school.  Three cheers for the staff, students and parents who worked so very hard on this project.
