Grand Bend is a caring community.  When we need to improve the quality of life in our town we always find a fundraising way to do it.  We have collectively raised money for the Rotary Nature Trail, a biking/hiking trail all the way from Grand Bend to the Pinery Provincial Park.  We raised money for the construction of a new beach house at the main beach, host of the 2001 Canada Summer Games.  We are now raising One Million Dollars to reconstruct our local Elementary School.  Efforts are currently underway to meet our goal.

Our Village Services are available for use by our visitors as well.  We realize that tourism is a vital component of the life of our village and we strive to make our guests happy.  Our Marina is accessed by thousands each year.  Our Marina staff are friendly and helpful.  

We have events happening throughout the village all year long to entertain and inform.  This year we will be hosting beach rugby.  Past events have been televised beach volleyball, Sandcastle Days, Buffalo Burgerfest and the list goes on.   There is always something going on in Grand Bend.
