On Saturday, July 18^th, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron (BBBSSH) is holding our second annual Children’s Festival.  This years event has been moved to the agricultural building (behind the South Huron recreation centre) to accommodate a larger turnout.  This year’s event features many activity stations for the children to participate in and stage shows that will be happening every half hour.  This year we have added a talent show to end the day (from 3 to 4).  We suggest you contact the agency prior to, to pre-register, to ensure we get to see your talent.  This year, we have also added a small vendors section.  There is still room for more activity stations, if you are interested.

We are still looking for some helping hands.  If you are interested in either volunteering, or putting in an activity station, please contact Amy at the BBBSSH office at (226) 268-3871 or via e-mail at cw@shbbbs.on.ca.  Check the web-site at www.shbbbs.on.ca for up-dates on the days events.  All proceeds will go to support the programs and services at Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron. The 2009 South Huron Trail Run takes place Sunday, August 9

The popular South Huron Trail Run, part of the Runners' Choice Runpiker Series, takes place at the scenic   MacNaughton Morrison Section of the South Huron Trail near Exeter.

Two runs take place - an 8 km run and a 2 km fun run

The South Huron Trail Run is in support of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South Huron. Enjoy the beautiful South Huron Trail while running competitively or just for fun. Enjoy the excitement at the starting and finish line. The 2 km run is for all ages.
