The Pines Bed and Breakfast  

June & Gavin would be pleased to welcome you as their guests at The Pines B&B which is located 3 kms south of Grand Bend in the secluded privacy of  Huron Woods.

The Pines is ideally located within walking distance of the beach, nature touring at the Pinery Provincial Park, The Huron Country Playhouse and the many local antique shops and flea markets. 

We are open year round so that our guests may enjoy the beautiful colours of the autumn forests, the cross country skiing in the Pinery Park and snowmobiling on extensive trails.  

 

 

2008 Rates:

Slightly lower in the winter

Weekends during peak season require a two night minimum stay.

 

 The White Room:  queen bed, shared bathroom $100 CDN per night

      

   

   Walnut Room: double bed, shared bathroom $100 CDN per night

 

 

 

Pines Suite: fireplace, tv/vcr, ensuite bath, queen bed  $120 CDN per night

 

Situated in a unique part of Ontario,  our Huron Woods community  borders the Pinery Provincial Park with over 6250 acres of woodland.   The Pinery is a naturalist's paradise containing the world's largest intact savanna ecosystem.   This rare habitat supports 29 species of mammals, 757 species of plants and 325 species of birds.  There are 10 trails, all considered "low-level" trekking.

                

   Or enjoy Huron Country Playhouse, a charming farm setting that attracts close to 70,000 theatre lovers each year.  Huron Country Playhouse is run by award winning Drayton Entertainment.

 

At "The Pines" for your enjoyment, we promise a friendly, casual and relaxed atmosphere. We offer  healthy, hearty breakfasts with every effort to accommodate special needs. In addition, "The Pines"  has a large deck, elegant living room, dining room, fire places, also, central air, and a pet and smoke free environment

Whatever your interests may be you can be assured that you will find something in Grand Bend. The Municipally owned Grand Bend Harbour offers facilities for boaters along the Ausable River. The many other attractions include golfing, fishing, parachuting, drag racing, and for those who wish to be pampered Spa treatments can be arranged.  The Pines is a partner of the Huron Country Theatre and we would be happy to arrange the purchase of tickets for any of the shows.

Grand Bend offers endless possibilities  and one of the worlds finest sun sets so bring your camera.

Deposit and Cancellation:  

The checking in time is from 3 pm and departure time is 11am. In order to make reservations a deposit of one nights accommodation,  non-refundable, is taken at the time of booking and deducted from your total bill upon arrival. The booking fee is transferable to another date if a change has been made  within 48 hours prior to arrival.
